RE: Informix Users Conference 2000, Orlando
Posted in 2000
I would think that the conference would be an *excellent* place to get more familiar with what's available -- features, tools, services, etc. -- from Informix and from some of their partners. The tutorials can be a very good way to get instructional overviews for particular features, sort of 'mini-training-classes'. And this year's conference should be more helpful technically than recent prior conferences have been. Informix is working very closely with IIUG to gather information from us, the customers and users, as to what *we* want to see at the conference. At our last local user group meeting, there were some representatives from Informix and from IIUG that are involved in planning the tutorials and track sessions. They were there to solicit ideas and suggestions for the conference. So if you've got some suggestions for tutorials, track sessions, whatever -- check out (actually, FILL out) http://www.informix.com/informix/iuc/ideas_form.htm HTH, Paul Mosser -----Original Message----- From: Impy [mailto:wyn441@my-deja.com] Sent: Wednesday, August 16, 2000 10:50 AM To: informix-list@iiug.org Subject: Informix Users Conference 2000, Orlando Would this conference be beneficial to an innocent and naive informix db admin or just a plain ol' newbie?
