When u want to use onbar and ontape combination,
run continuous logical log backup sothat onbar doesn't
backup the logical log while doing level 0,1,2 backups.
It errors out with the message :"WARNING: A log backup
is already running. Can't start another."
Physical restore using onbar and logical restore
usign ontape works 100% in this case. I have done
it twice.
Thanks,
Abhay.

I have to doubt it. If you make a database backup with onbar, finally the
logical logs are also backed up. These logical logs cannot be backed any more,
ontape will not have them. If you make a physical restore with onbar the
database is restored as far as the point where the first logical log file
began to be backed up with onbar. But you can not restore this log with ontape
because it has not it. These logs can be reloaded only with onbar.
