Having problems initiating HDR.
Platform specifics:
IBM RS6000 h70
AIX 4.3.3.0
IDS 2000 9.20.UC3
Archive and Restore accomplished using onbar and
the Informix Storage Manager.
Problem occurs when trying to restore the archive
created from the primary server on the secondary
server.
Message is as follows:

(BSAGetObject) A system error occurred. Aborting
XBSA session.
2000-05-11 18:19:47 23738 28094 Unable to open
connection to database server: could not fork
server connection.
2000-05-11 18:19:59 23738 28094 SQL -25588
The appl process cannot connect to Dynamic Server
2000 prod1sa.
2000-05-11 18:19:59 23738 28094 ISAM 2
No such file or directory
I've run through the setup procedures described
in the ISM guide. Nothing seems to work. Any
ideas? Let me know.

You cannot restore from onbar to a machine with a different hostname!
Use ontape instead to setup HDR!
