ONBAR point-in-time recovery fails

My customer had a batchjob that went wrong and corrupted a couple of tables a
week ago. I am now trying to restore the database onto another server to
recover the tables that got wiped out.
By looking into the file ixbar.0 i have figured out that i need to restore the
database to log number 23754. The physical restore runs ok, but when i run the
logical restore the following messages show up in the bar_act.log file:
2009-08-24 13:22:50 15607 15605 /opt/IBM/informix/bin/onbar_d -r -l -n 23754

returning 100 (0x64)
I cannot find any information about this error.
Is this procedure the right one:
onbar -r -p -n 23754
onbar -r -l -n 23754

Jimmy,
Did you copy over the ixbar file to the server you are restoring the instance
onto? Also are your logical logs being backed up? If so how? Using onbar? To
the black hole /dev/null?

Jimmy,
I don't know what that message is about specifically, except to say that the
local onbar configuration on the machine you are restoring to doesn't know
about whatever logical log backup was performed after this archive was
taken.
However, you DO NOT have to restore the server to be able to recover the
data from the archive. You can use the table level data restore feature of
the archecker utility to extract the data from the damaged tables and
directly insert the data to the original tables or to a set of staging
tables where you can filter the results further. See CHapter 17 of the
Backup and Restore Guide for details on table level restore using archecker.
