fgldb doesn't work in my environment
Hi, I installed Informix 4GL RDS Developement 7.50 FC5 on my server. The command r4gl works well and I can compile my 4GL programs. When I want to run fgldb command, I have the message : fgldb: error while loading shared libraries: libiffgisql.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64 I checked, the library libiffgisql.so is installed in the directory $INFORMIXDIR/lib/esql When I run the unix command "file" for this library, I have the following message : cd $INFORMIXDIR/lib/esql file libiffgisql.so libiffgisql.so: ELF 64-bit LSB shared object, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked, not stripped Do you know the solution ? check ownership and permissions (should be informix/informix and 775 or 755) can you Debug via the r4gl menu as opposed to running fgldb from the command line? Hi Art, "file fgldb" says : fgldb: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.2.5, not stripped I have the 32 bit executable instead of the 64 bits executable. I re-installed the product "Informix 4GL interactive debugger 64 bits" and it works ! Thank you for your help.
