I don't believe that there's any inherent reason why you shouldn't allow the two servers to share a disk. The normal conditions will apply; you don't want to the overall i/os to the disk too high. For example, having Informix's physical log and Oracle's re-do logs on a single disk could thrash it. You'll also want to consider that your disk will be a single point of failure for both servers.
