For some reason, the client install does not update your services file (the
server install does)
Under WindowsNT, you can find the services file in
%SystemRoot%\\system32\\drivers\\etc\\
add the following lines to the end of the file.
turbo 1526/tcp # INFORMIX-OnLine Workgroup Server
srv_agent 1530/tcp # INFORMIX-OnLine Server Agent
you might need to change the port numbers to match the services file on the
Unix Server.
Make sure that the informix specific environment variables are set correctly
when you run SetNet. Those environment variables DO NOT show up in the
environment tab under System Properties and are separate for each user
account under NT!
