Mirroring with OE 5.0

Group: I am running Informix Online Engine version 5.05.UC1 on a UNIX platform and I want to enable mirroring (via Informix, not RAID). I have duplicate disk partitions set up for each of my existing dbspaces, but I fail to see how to "turn on" mirroring without re-initializing my rootdbs. You should just be able to change the TBCONFIG parameter MIRROR to 1, restart, then use tbspaces to add the mirror chunks to each existing chunk using the -m option. Lastly once the ROOTDB chunk is mirrored update the TBCONFIG parameters MIRRORPATH and MIRROROFFSET (if non-zero). Art S. Kagel "Walter S.
