NCR Segmentation Fault Problems with Informix

We are running an NCR 3525 multi-processor machine and receive segmentation faults while running the software. A consultant ordered the software. The specs: NCR 3525 Unix S5R4V3.01 MP-RAS (with current patches) 512 MB RAM Online 5.07.UC1 (NCR 3000 Series MP-RAS 3.00.01) 4GL 4.15.UC1 Fourgen/DP Tools 4.12UC2G for NCR 202505 I traced the segmentation faults to statements such as "prompt" or opening a new shell within a program. My guess is the thing is running out of memory. We performed the STUNE parameters as stated in the $INFORMIXDIR/release directory with no luck. We are going to call Informix and there is a call into NCR about this, but I was wondering if anyone else experienced this or has any suggestions. The programs generally run as long as no other processes are started or very few windows are opened. The compiled versions will not run at all, giving a segmentation fault on load. Any ideas?
