RE: ontape -r quitting with code -1 errno 22

What are your log files saying? Do you have truss under Digital Unix,
if so then truss and find out what system call is being 22'd. My
starter for ten would shmadd, or brk, both are SHM problems and
are probably down to your kernel configuration
