Powerbuilder 3 w/ Informix-connect 7 ?

Question: A company has many compiled PB 3.0 applications and wishes to upgrade all client PCs to Windows 95. The UNIX/Informix back-end is 7.2 and the Win95 connectivity tool works great with the ILogin demo program from Informix. Of course, none of the local PB generated .exe files work, generally returning an -854 error. The -854 indicates that the app wants to have seen ethdrv or setnet be run, but that's not the way the Informix connectivity 7.2 product works. We've tried copying in the pertinent .dll files, including the famous LDLLSQLW.DLL, but the -854 error persists. Is there a newer version of LDLLSQLW.DLL or other file we need? Must we recompile all apps to PB 5? Should we use an older connectivity product for Informix that is compatible. Any help greatly appreciated.
