Error System Block
Posted in 2015
A user on IDS 11.70.FC8 reported a vague "Generic System Block" error; when asked for details, the online log showed assertion failures (MT_EX_OS, context mem) and "yield_processor: Stack overflow in thread" for an sqlexec thread, with an af file written. Art Kagel and Paul Watson identified it as a thread stack overflow and advised doubling the STACKSIZE onconfig parameter (noting UDRs/DataBlades often need more than the default). The user said STACKSIZE was already 512 and was told to raise it further; he thanked them, but no confirmation of the outcome is recorded.

This message has been scanned for viruses and
dangerous content by MailScanner, and is
believed to be clean.
Look at the messages about stack problems. Try increasing STACKSIZE double
and see if that will allow the engine to stay online. The default stack is
only 64K. I increase that to 128 at almost all of my clients.

Double your stack size ?
<quote>
14:13:53 Assert Failed: yield_processor: Stack overflow in thread 67767
</quote>
The stack trace from the af is always useful, if you are using datablades
and/or custom UDRs the default stacksize is usually too low
Cheers
