CDC on table with no PK

Hello everybody, I have a need for replication from Informix IDS 12.10 to another database vendor. One possibility is to use the CDC to get the changes from IDS to replicate to the target. Is it possible to use the CDC API on table with no primary key ? Thank you for your answers, P. Fornaciari
Mechanically possible, but dangerous. Updates and deletes would affect all rows that happen to be duplicates. It is a REALLY poor schema that has tables without at least a unique index key even if it isn't declared as a primary key formally. FYI, there is a 3rd party product that does heterogeneous replications between Informix and other vendors' databases in both directions if needed. Not cheap but then you don't have to roll your own and debug it. Take a look at dbmoto: http://www.hitsw.com/products_services/dbmoto.html Though they will probably tell you the same thing I have.
