sqlhosts configuration

Hi all, When I build my sqlhosts file, is the hostname field the result of the "uname -n" command or "hostname" command ? If I use DNS this two commands will not give the same result... Using the value returned by uname -n usually works best but the answer may depend on the search order you have set in dns. On a server you should be doing local lookups first then DNS. -- Art S.
