I need to help on how to update a row using ROWID (since some tables do not have a unique key) through ODBC. Any help and all help is greatly appreciated. Jordan. ASA Global Services Inc.
I have tried todefine the special columns so that the rowid of a fetch can be recorded. rc = SQLSpecialColumns (hstmt, SQL_BEST_ROWID, "", SQL_NTS, NULL, 0, table_2, SQL_NTS, SQL_SCOPE_TRANSACTION, SQL_NO_NULLS); if ((rc != SQL_SUCCESS) && (rc != SQL_SUCCESS_WITH_INFO)) { printf ("SQLSpecialColumns has Failed. RC=%d\\n", rc); ODBC_error (henv, hdbc, hstmt); exit(255); } I am recieving an error that the driver does not support this function, but the driver is supposed to according to the getInfo function??????????? Thanks Jordan
