Run Continuos log backup : ontape -c=20
while you are loading data .
You did not indicate how are you loading data,=20
but the best way is using dbload command in order
to avoid the famous Long Transaction problem when loading
data with sql's "load from ... " .

I am trying to migrate and existing databse to=20
IDS=20
i recreated the database and dbschema
on loading the data in the tables my logical logs=20
get filled up and IDS hangs
onstat -l shows 100% useage on all logical logs
how do i free these logs=20
do i have archive them is there any other way ?
how does the checkpoint interval affect the=20
the freeing up of these files
