Is this valid syntax (sorry, I'm at home so am manual-less)? Maybe it's
an ANSI-ism?
Isn't the tablename kinda redundant (you can't update two tables at once).
Shouldn't you:
UPDATE tmp_report SET * = p_tmp_report.*
Actually, that's a *REALLY* ugly construction. Use of the asterisk will
come back to haunt you!
Use: UPDATE tmp_report SET test_id = p_tmp_report.test_id
