OpenView suite consists of many products. Which one are you using ( Is it IT operations ? ) You just need to tell Openview which log file it need to monitor and what Tag. for example 'ASSERT FAILURE' in online.log. IT operations uses logfile encapsulation to do this. You may look in www.openview.hp.com for more details.
