REMINDER - OKI-IUG PERFORMANCE TUNING SEMINAR

The Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana Informix Users Group is holding an Informix Database Engine Tuning Seminar on December 7, 1996 from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm. Information about the seminar including cost is provided below. The seminar will be conducted by an individual who works as a contractor for many private companies nationally as well as a certified Informix Instructor. He is an engine specialist with experience in troubleshooting and tuning the Informix Engine. PERFORMANCE TUNING SEMINAR SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7, 1996 PROPOSED SEMINAR OUTLINE Section 1: Introduction to Performance Tuning Section 2: Performance Measuring Tools Section 3: Disk Performance Section 4: Fragmentation and PDQ Section 5: Memory Performance Section 6: CPU Performance Strategies Section 7: Some Database and Table Issues Section 8: Query Performance Section 9: Locking Performance Section 10: Other Performance Tuning Issues The Seminar will be held on Saturday, December 7 from 8:30 am until ~4:00 pm. The cost will be $65.00 per member. Remember corporate members can send up to five (5) individuals at $65.00, with each additional corporate attendee above five at $85.00. The cost for non-members will be $250.00 per attendee. Checks or cash accepted, due on or before the seminar date (Dec. 7, 1996).
