No it will not COMMIT after so many inserts for you. You could use it for your smaller tables. The best is to use "DBLOAD". You will have to monitor you logical logs and should back them up if you see that they are getting full. DBLOAD allows you to commit periodically and will also continue loading if bad data records are trying to be inserted in to a table. You have control over rather or not to allow this processing and what to do once a certain amount of bad data records have been attempted to be inserted. You also can have it keep those bad data records in a file for later reviewing...... Check out DBLOAD it's your best option!!! C.L.
