Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

I'm trying to connect to an Informix 7.x database
running on a linux system. I'm trying to connect
from both an NT 4.0 workstation and a Win 95
workstation. I'm using version 2.30 of the
client SDK for each OS, downloaded from the
Informix website.
Using ILogin.exe to attempt to connect to the
database I get the error message referenced above.
I've read the files that came with the SDK but
didn't find anything apparently helpful here.
Can you please give me a clue as to what's wrong
here and/or how to fix it?
Thanks !!
Pete.
