IF2000 installation problem

Hi all, weeks ago Rüdiger Papke posted a problem concerning an installation problem with IIF 2000 on a Linux box. I tried to run the installation now and ran into the same problem. The problem takes place when I start the installserver script. It tries to brand the software but brand terminates with the error: brand: error in loading shared libraries : undefined symbol: __bzero Additionally I saw some other functions or variables, that are not defined in my libc.so.6 Obviously this function should be found in "libc.so.6" but I cannot find this function when I run "nm libc.so.6". Is there someone out there who can send me the correct version of "libc.so.6" ? I think it's time to say "Thank You" to the Informix developers. It's really a good idea to use Shared Libraries instead of static linking. Since these days we have no longer problems with our memory because we cannot install the software. Especially on platforms like Linux - and I'm sure you will agree - the SHL versions never change and that's a good reason for making high use of SHLs.
