I believe processor number begins with zero, so if you have a three processor machine, those processors are numbered 0, 1, and 2. From what you've said, you have a two processor machine which should be numbered 0 and 1. There isn't a number 2 processor which could be why you're getting the error message since you have it configured in your parameters as such. samir BADAOUI wrote: > Hi, > please how can I know that I am using affinity process in my server (in the > informix side). > my config variables AFF_SPROC and AFF_NPROCS are positionned to respectivly > 1 and 2. but I get the following message in the log file : VPCLASS 'cpu' not > enough physical procs for affinity > I am using informix 7.30UC5 under AIX 4.3.2.
