Re: Shared memory not initialized...

Thanks, I'll look into the config... But in defense of W2K, it works great, as
long as you don't attempt to use it for anything that could be considered
useful.

Nope, everything appears to be set up correctly.
INFORMIXDIR=d:\\informix
INFORMIXSERVER=ol_aries
ONCONFIG=ONCONFIG.ol_aries
PATH=d:\\informix\\bin;%PATH%
INFORMIXSQLHOSTS=\\\\ARIESDBTEMP=d:\\informix\\infxtmp
CLIENT_LOCALE=EN_US.CP1252
DB_LOCALE=EN_US.8859-1SERVER_LOCALE=EN_US.CP1252
DBLANG=EN_US.CP1252
mode con codepage select=1252
This is from the ol_aries.cmd file, and I've check the actual environment variables
and they all match. Informix does appear to be taking up the memory, but I just
can't get to it. I can't do a backup either, which means the database gets locked
up after a few minutes. Whatever it is, it's REALLY starting to piss me off.
