RE: change of server made network problems - Solaris 2.8 Bug
Posted in 2000
Ira,
Well, it's kind of tricky to get it out of the informix site.
Go to url:
http://www.informix.com/informix/services/ilink/kb/kb_table.html
and type '124759' in the keyword field, and match 'word only' in the query
type.
You should be able to find it.
As for version 9.21 on Solaris 2.8 - it works for me now. There are no
additional patches as I am aware.
The problem is only with 9.20 server.
Sincerely,
Elena.

I looked up the document number 124759 using the search tool on the
Informix
web site specifying 'Online_Documentation' as the subject but did not get
any
hits. I tried each other possible subject and received no hits there either.
Any suggestions or other ways that you know of to get this document. We have
tentative plans to install/upgrade customers of our product with/to IDS 9.21
on
Solaris 2.8 in the near future. I'd like to find out if I have to apply any
OS
Patches, configuration changes, or anything else of the sort.
Thank you.
