Run this sql against the sysmaster database. It should give you some clue
as to who is creating the temp tables.
SELECT d.name[1,5] dbspace
, trim(n.dbsname) || ":" || trim(n.owner) || ":" || trim(n.tabname)
table
, i.ti_nptotal allocated_pages
FROM systabnames n
, systabinfo i
, sysdbstab d
WHERE bitval(i.ti_flags, "0x0020") = 1
AND i.ti_partnum = n.partnum
AND d.dbsnum = trunc((hex(i.ti_partnum)/1048576))
ORDER BY 3 DESC
;
