If that key is missing, you will not be able to connect. In which case I suggest you run the Informix Setnet32 utility and configure your NT system properly. Make sure you set the INFORMIXSERVER and Local INFORMIXDIR (where you installed Informix stuff on your PC, e.g., C:\\INFORMIX) variable in the "Environment" Tab. Lee
