Perform can't do that. Each field in a table only allowed to realated with a field in other tables. You can say field_1 = t1.f1 = t2.f2 = ...; And you can have as many as field_1 on the screen you what. But you can not say field_1 = t1.f1; field_2 = t1.f1; Hope this will help. Min } I have two pairs of data entries on a form and I want each pair of } entries to match one of many pairs of entries in a REFERENCE table. } } The "composites" syntax is not clear enough to see how to match MULTIPLE } pairs of fields to the same pair of columns in the REFERENCE table. } ----------------------------------------------------- } My first "pair" of entries works fine...... } } field_1 = table_A.column_1 = table_R.reference_1; } } field_2 = table_A.column_2 = table_R.reference_2; } } composites <table_A.column_1, table_A.column_2> } *<table_R.reference_1, table_R.reference_2> } } When I try to enter field_1 and field_2 values that don't match any of the } several pairs in column_1-column_2 of the REFERENCE table, table_R, the } form correctly objects. } ----------------------------------------------------- } } How can I repeat this for a second pair of fields in this form? } } field_3 = table_A.column_3 = table_R.reference_1; } } field_4 = table_A.column_4 = table_R.reference_2; } } composites <???????????????> .......etc....... } } The compiler objects by saying: } } # } # The column "reference_1" name appears more than once.
