Jason, since you volunteered to keep a tally of > "yeas" and "nays", why don't you take on this job to set up a new > usergroup. That way we are all happy and nobody gets hurt !! I would love to but dont have the resources, I work for a bank and have them paranoid enough about us Informix DBAs leaving. If I ask them to host comp.databases.informix.jobs, well they may have a heart attack! It may all be a moot point anyway. comp.database.informix.jobs is a good idea. Except that it gives head hunters two informix newsgroups in their postings, instead of the current one. We cant keep the job postings out but the way the voting is going at the moment we will not want them. So myself and other concerned individuals will send "polite" e-mails to the posters telling them to bugger off. Actually for a joke I might tell them to post to comp.databases.informix.jobs. Maybe one of them will decide to host it once they find it does not exist! Hopefully they will eventually get the idea that they are doing more harm than good for their organisations by posting here.
