Error -1261

Hi, I'm a bit lost with this one but I'm new to Informix so hopefully this isn't something that comes up all the time. I'm getting: ODBC Data Source Error: S1000 -- Message: [Informix][Odbc Informix Driver][Informix]Unspecified System Error = -1261. in debug for an application but when I look at the "finderr" for this code it seems to be saying that either the date format is wrong or an interval format is wrong. I've put in a record at the end of this posting that was producing the error and there are no intervals and all the dates seem okay. Can anyone explain what is going wrong here or even some pointers as to where I might find more information on the problem. Can you post a schema of the table as well? 'dbschema -d <database
name> -t <table name> <table name>.sql'.
My _GUESS_ is that defined_col3 is of type DATE, rather than DATETIME
YEAR TO ... If that is true, the proper format for a DATE type is
MM/DD/YYYY, not YYYY-MM-DD.
By the way, have you looked into the key value CURRENT or TODAY? You
can put CURRENT into a datetime field and let the database figure out
exactly what's supposed to be there...
