4GL Reports error -1324 when using characters with code > 127 on DG-Alpha (TrueUnix 4.0) and 4GL 7.20UD&

Hello, there seems to me a serious bug in the report generator part of 4GL developement tools for DG-Alpha (V7.20UD6). The report listed in the next lines stops with error -1324 after having written some output lines (depends on where the character code > 127 is placed in the string and which character code i use). Typically about 10000 lines of output are written. It happens with any character > 127 anywhere in the output string. When removing the > 127 character, the report works as expected and writes some very huge file. I reported this error to our Informix support center in germany with no answer yet.
