Jake's $.02 US:
When I was teaching the IDS Admin class @Informix, I used to preach to
people to NEVER use the -i option to oninit because it gets you used to
a dangerous procedure, especially if you are creating instances
frequently. One leedle mistake and you've just killed someone's server.
And wouldn'tchaknowit, this is the client that does not do regular
backups..
