Assuming you are using OnLine, this will irretrievably (alright, maybe
it's reversible, but it'll be ugly) corrupt your instance. All sorts
of references to this table will still exist in your OnLine instance in
many other places, most of which you cannot access. You are just
asking for trouble if you do this.
What do you mean you brought the engine up in single-user mode? And
what else (if anything) does your 4GL program do?
