(1) Are these three statements sequential in the ESQL/C code (in which case, it superficially seems as if there is a problem), or is there other (eg I4GL) code in use in between the calls to these statements? (2) Is there any chance that the statement name or cursor name is used elsewhere in I4GL code which gets invoked at the wrong moment? (3) Are you compiling the ESQL/C code with the C4GL compiler and not (emphatically NOT) the ESQL/C compiler? Your ESQL/C compiler is 7.2x; your I4GL code expects to run with the 6.0x ESQL/C libraries provided with your 6.0x I4GL. Yours, Jonathan Leffler (johnl@informix.com) #include <disclaimer.h>
