RE: Empty dbspaces.

Your dbspaces will have some space used for system overhead even when they
are not being used to store any data. Using oncheck -pe should verify this
for you.
Example from my system shows this...
Chunk: 5 /dev/informix/dbs_blob2 Size Used
Free
1048575 4146 1044429
Disk usage for Chunk 5 Total Pages
------------------------------------------------------
OVERHEAD 4146

When I clear a dbspaces, solely in use for tables from tables with
"alter fragment ...." then I see with onstat -d that the dbspace isn't
completely empty however looking in the sysfragments tables for the
datbases I found the dbspace isn't in used.
Also oncheck -pt shows me that the dbspace isn't in use anymore.
The question is now why onstat -d doesn't show me that the dbspace is
empty.
I use Informix 7.23.UC6 on Sun Solaris.
