My box is aix 5.3 , ids 10 FC3R1.
I start my ids and run 'onstat -d'
700000031d801c8 14 10 0 512000 0 PD-B /dev/
rtmpdb1
tmp dbspace is down.
$ ls -l /dev/rmptdb1
crw-rw---- 1 informix informix 10, 20 Feb 25 13:39 /dev/rtmpdb1owner , group name and mode is OK!
and the hard disk is running well.
Can anyone give me a tip ?

Look in the online log. There will be a reason why it was marked down.
Did you try to read the chunk using dd?
Since it's a temp dbspace, if you can verify that the chunk is working
OK, then just drop the dbspace and add it back. You could call IBM Tech
Support to mark it back online, or pay me to do it 8-) , but for a temp
dbspace, it's not worth the effort.
