Re: Informix Warehouse Feature Installation issue
Posted in 2009
Friends: After doing some step by step modifications here, the installation program continued (even shows the error message, but it enabled the "next" button on the screen), so I post here the solution for all: 1) export DS_IGNORE_OSPREREQ=TRUE (on the install shell, of course) 2) edit the response file of the WAS program, located on: <Informix Warehouse Feature server installer dir>/server/Was/WAS/responsefile.base.txt I uncommented the two lines below: #-OPT disableOSPrereqChecking="true" # -OPT disableNonBlockingPrereqChecking="true" And ran the install again, it worked PERFECTLY nice! Enormous thanks to our friends Veronica Gomes, from IBM, for her attention on this issue. Best regards!
