Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

We have an HP-9000 K260 2 way, with the database on 4 2gb FWD disks off
a single controller in a High Availability Chasis.
2 of the disks are showing at 100% utilization most of the time, with
the other 2 at 20%.
We are using raw disk space, so can not use disk striping to try and
balance the load. We are thinking about creating more than one dbspace
and attempting to load the main tables in a more balanced way.
The database is about 6GB in size.
Any suggestions for either monitoring the system to narrow down the
specific problem areas, or for general tuning. We have Standard Informix
5 utilities and HP Glance.
