Hi Folks,
Here's hoping you can help me solve a small problem I'm having. IDS running
fine on SuSE Linux 6.1 (kernel 2.2.5, glibc 2.0.6). Shared memory works
fine but I am unable to configure for TCP/IP. The thing seems to be trying
to listen on the port I give it (checked with telnet), but never responds to
any client requests (dbaccess, onmonitor - warning that the net is down).
online.log shows:
listener-thread: err = -25573: oserr = 11: errstr = : Network driver cannot
accept a connection on the port. System Error 11.
I checked system error 11 and it returns 'Resource temporarily unavailable'.
sqlhosts was configured as,
ck_resolve1 onsoctcp anik ckdbon
/etc/services has
ckdbon 8052/tcp
onconfig.ck_resolve1 has
NETTYPE soctcp, 1, 100, NET
I tried with different ports and CPU and NET vps. No luck. The machine
notes say that soctcp is supported.
Any advice? I would really like to get this going so I can try some remote
client stuff...:-)
Thanks for your help,
R.Bets
