My server-based application uses Unix logins to connect to an Informix database. Users access this database through ODBC/CLI and I want register this access into a table How can I do? thanks for your help Ana.
Have you looked at the sysmaster table syssessions? I think that has what you need in it. If you want to store it historically, you might need to write a process that reads syssessions and copies the data into a table that you create. You should be able to connect through ODBC using the UNIX userid and passwords. However, before you can successfully connect, you will need to setup the setnet32 utility. Go to the FAQ section of WinSQL at http://www.indus-soft.com/winsql, there you will find a document describing how to connect to Informix through ODBC.
