Why this code: <?mivar name=dummy>Just for the existence of dummy variable<?/mivar> <?miblock cond=$(NXST, $dummy)> dummy doesn't exist <?mielse> dummy exist <?/miblock> <br> <?mivar>$(IF, $(XST, $dummy), dummy exist, dummy doesn't exist) <?/mivar> shows: dummy doesn't exist dummy exist ? I'm using web.4.00.TC2, IDS 2000 v. 9.20.TC1, DDW 2.00.TC1 Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
You need to remove all the extra spaces you have in the variable processing functions, like the space after "NXST, " - that extra space will cause erroneous results. These tests are very space sensitive, remove all the spaces in the testing and try again adrian_florea@my-deja.com wrote: > > Why this code: > > <?mivar name=dummy>Just for the existence of dummy variable<?/mivar> > <?miblock cond=$(NXST, $dummy)> > dummy doesn't exist > <?mielse> > dummy exist > <?/miblock> > <br> > <?mivar>$(IF, $(XST, $dummy), > dummy exist, > dummy doesn't exist) > <?/mivar> > > shows: > > dummy doesn't exist > dummy exist > > ? > I'm using web.4.00.TC2, IDS 2000 v. 9.20.TC1, DDW 2.00.TC1 > > Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ > Before you buy. -- Paul Watson # WF Software Ltd # You are only young once Tel: +44 1436 674729 # but you can be immature Fax: +44 1436 678693 # for ever www.wfsoftware.com #
