Hi Doug, I'm using 5.1.0.2. I'll try your work around -- however I was given the solution with a direct e-mail (I can't give the credit as I got it at work and I am at home). The problem was I was using 'native' as the windows manager -- changing it to X seems to have done the trick. It's not as pretty, but I'll take function over looks any day (at least when I need to get something done).
