ImageAXS Pro-Med, based on DAS' market leading commercial desktop image management solution, complies with the DICOM medical imaging standard and enables secure sharing of images for consultation over the= Internet/Intranet. In addition to departmental and enterprise-size imaging applications, DAS also will support Informix technology in products resulting from a partnership with Pharmaceutical Product Development, Inc. (PPDI), a leading contract research organization. The alliance between PPDI and DAS will image-enable clinical trials, and other types of research and trial automation technology, accelerating advances in discovery and outcomes research.
