The only problems we encounter are differences between versions of the engine (7.3 vs 9.4), but the OS doesn't seem to matter much. Do keep in mind that there may be some configuration differences (onsoctcp vs ontlitcp, differences in processor affinity, etc.), and that the page size is different on AIX (4K instead of 2K), which may change your extent sizing. Other than that it's been pretty smooth for us. DC
