In sh (or ksh):
for fname in table1 table2
do
dbaccess database_name <<EOF
unload to $fname select * from $fnameEOF
gzip $fname
done
Of course you could use another compress utillity.
An you could use a file to store the table names.
I didn't test it but it should work.
