Marc Demhartner asked whether anyone had tried 14.10.FC7W1 before upgrading from FC3 and found no fix list. Art Kagel said it is mostly a security patch to the InformixHQ package, otherwise identical to FC7, and he had used it without problems. Tom Girsch reported nearly two weeks in production without incident.

Marc:
The 14.10.FC7W1 release is a security patch mostly to the InformixHQ package. I believe that otherwise it is identical to the .FC7 release. I have been using it since it came out. No problems here, but I'm hardly a production user.

I've been using FC7W1 in production for nearly two weeks without incident. But we were previously running FC7 incident free since early December, and FC6 for months before that.
