Hello Forum How to insert a CR-LF pair of characters in a varchar column? Regards Sorry for my bad english Gustavo Echenique
May your cuestion have to be with this lines, I saw in another thread:
EXECUTE PROCEDURE IFX_ALLOW_NEWLINE('t');select replace( your_column, "^M", "X" )
from your_table;
In dbaccess I used ^V^M to get the ^M.
I hope this be useful for you.
best regards.

Hello Néstor, first of all I am grateful for your response.
Lamentably in IDS's version that I work (7.31 TD6 for Windows), there does not
exist the function or procedure IFX_ALLOW_NEWLINE ().
In the version which I have, will it be possible to insert these special
characters by means of judgments SQL?
From already, thank you very much.
