unload failure
Posted in 2003
IDS 7.31.TC2 on NT4.0 on Compaq Proliant 4cpu x 500mhz each
In the last 30 days we have had
1. a dbexport fail(error not captured NOT REPRODUCIBLE)
2. an unload of two tables fail repeatedly (REPRODUCIBLE)
3. a second unload actually crashed the instance (NOT REPRODUCIBLE)
4. a third unload reported 25,000 rows unloaded but only 24,562 were
actually unloaded (NOT REPRODUCIBLE).
All of these involve the unload command. We can't figure out why we are
suddenly have unload problems. We are not even sure if they are unload
problems. Could NT be the culprit? Is this an NT buffer problem? A
network problem? Anybody got any ideas?
