Hello Paul,
Thanks for your answer.
No the table was not locked. I found that the ???.idx file was
corruppted.
I Do the job with the follwing now:
1. create an identical table with another name via dbschema.
2. copy it over the old idx and dat file
3. do an update statistics
It works but i think it is a litte bit dirty
Do you now another way ?
