Re: Error (-881) : Resulting string length must be less than or equal to 255.
Do you have a delete trigger on the table and something inthat trigger
is failing
you showed you are deleting from tbperposhist
delete from tbperposhist where phicdcip ="00003566";
and you posted the table definition
CREATE TABLE "informix".tbpersancjun
these are, unfortunately, different tables.
The deletes at the bottom that worked were also on different tables.
Could it be those tables don't have a delete trigger and this one does?
